Questions? Michelle is Here to Support.

Q. Do I need to do anything before I join my first class?

Make sure you’re using the latest version of Zoom (so you don’t have to worry about downloading or updating right before class). Other than that, pre-registration is not required for these sessions, so you can truly drop in at any time!

Q. I’m nervous… what does a somatic yoga class look like?

These live Zoom sessions weave together Gentle Somatic Movement and Yin Yoga to support nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and deep rest. Each class is crafted to meet you where you are, guiding you through brain-to-muscle re-patterning techniques that invite softness, curiosity, and connection.

This class invites you to listen inward—to sense and respond to your body’s subtle cues. Through this somatic approach, we explore the physical, emotional, and energetic layers of your present-moment experience. It’s a space to unravel tension, return to yourself, and move from a place of integrity and care.

You may also hide your video or audio at any time for comfort or privacy.

Q. What are some of the benefits of somatic yoga?

  • Re-patterning brain-to-muscle connections – Restore ease and coordination through slow, intentional movement.
  • Reducing pain and tension – Soothe the parasympathetic nervous system and unwind habitual holding.
  • Enhancing mobility – Move with greater freedom and less discomfort.
  • Promoting deep relaxation – Settle into a restorative state where the body can rest and repair.

Thank you for joining us on this journey. Be well.
